Paper A is a list of vouchers, Nos. 600 to 676, inclusive, for audit. Paper B is a statement of the Station expenditures for the quarter -ending March 31, 1890. Paper C is a statement of the appropriations, expenditures, and balances June 1st for the quarter ending June 30, 1890. Paper B is a statement of appropriations asked for the purpose of carrying on the work of the Station for the quarter ending September 30, 1890. Estimates for the quarter ending Sept. 30, 1890:

The Board of Direction asks authority to use, for such purposes as may best subserve the interests of the Station, any unexpended balances of the Station funds appropriated for this fiscal year. Authority is asked to continue the outside wheat experiments, sowings to be made at some four points and the expense for the whole to be limited to $125.00 for the year 1890-91. Authority is further asked to undertake investigations— 1. To determine the feeding value of broom corn seed. 2. To determine the feeding value of apple pomace. The Trustees are also requested to confirm the appointment of Mr. G-. I 3 . Clinton as Assistant Botanist, at a salary of $50 per month from Sept. 1, 1890. SELIM H. The Director presents the following nominations of assistants for the coming year and asks t h a t they be approved:

I recommend t h a t authority be given to employ a janitor for the department of chemistry, at the rate of twenty-five dollars per month. All which is respectfully submitted.
