Could p r o b a b l y be m a d e to a v e r a g e $7 p e r a c r e by selling p a r t l y on long time w i t h low r a t e of i n t e r e s t . T h e y a r e s i t u a t e d so far from r a i l r o a d t h a t t h e r e is no very g r e a t d e m a n d for t h e m a s yet, for t h e r e a s o n t h a t t h e r e a r e still plenty of u n o c c u p i e d l a n d s n e a r e r m a r k e t s . A report from Trustee Bennett, on Nebraska lands, was received, and referred to the Executive Committee with power to act. The following appropriations of current funds were voted, for the six months ending February 28, 1885: Current Appropriations for six months ending February 29, 1885.

To the Honorable Board of Trustees of the Illinois Industrial University: * Your c o m m i t t e e to w h o m w a s referred t h e B u s i n e s s Agent's s t a t e m e n t , would r e s p e c t fully report— 1st—That t h e y h a v e e x a m i n e d t h e v o u c h e r s from No. 551 to 755, b o t h inclusive, a n d find t h e m correct, also No. 548 n o t received at last m e e t i n g . 2d—That t h e y h a v e e x a m i n e d t h e T r e a s u r e r ' s r e p o r t , a n d r e c o m m e n d t h a t it b e r e c e i v e d and tiled; and, 3*d—That t h e y r e c o m m e n d t h e a d o p t i o n of t h e a p p r o p r i a t i o n s from c u r r e n t funds for six m o n t h s closing F e b r u a r y 28,1885, as s u b m i t t e d . The report was received and approved. The following amounts from State appropriations were allowed to be expended: $25 for Chemical Laboratory. $150 for Physical Laboratory.
