242 BOABD MEETING—SEPTEMBEB, 1884. The Board met in the University parlor Tuesday, September 11, 1884, at a o'clock P. M. No quorum being present the Board adjourned to meet at the Grand Pacific Hotel, Chicago, 111., on Wednesday, September 12, 1884, at 8 o'clock P. M. SECOND DAY'S SESSION. The Board met at the Grand Pacific Hotel, Chicago, 111., Wednesday, September 12, 1884, at 8:30 P. M. Present—Trustees Earle, Bennett, Cobb, McLean, Millard and Paden. Absent—Governor Hamilton; Trustees Landrigan, Follansbee, Pearman and Postel. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. On motion, the reports of the Begent and other officers were deferred, and the reports of committee taken up.
