95 The report of the Committee on Library and Cabinets, was read and adopted:

REPORT.

To the Board of Trustees Illinois Industrial University : The Committee on Library and Cabinets submit herewith the catalogue of the books in the library, and recommend that the Faculty be authorized to expend the remainder of the State appropriation for library and cabinets, in the purchase of such books as, in their judgment, are most needed for their several departments. J. M. GREGORY, Chairman.

Mr. Edwards moved that the Kegent be paid $250, for expenses incurred in purchasing books, while in Europe, out of funds not otherwise appropriated. Carried. On nomination of Judge Brown, the Hon. W. C. Flagg, was unanimously elected Corresponding Secretary, and Prof. W. F. Bliss, Recording Secretary of the Board. In accordance with a resolution adopted by the Executive Committee at their January meeting, 1870, the Eegent was invited to make a report on the Agricultural schools in Europe. On motion, The Board adjourned.
