Room 115, Turner Hall Friday and Saturday, 10:00 a.m., runs every 30 minutes. Come get your hands dirty and see the dark underbelly of Illinois agriculture. Take a tour of American and Illinois soils without leaving your seat and get a bonus take-home gift!

CSI: Crop Sciences Inquiry

Room W-109, Turner Hall Investigate crop sciences and test your knowledge of plants, agronomy and agriculture. Explore the facts and fallacies using “I-clickers” which poll the audience. Offered at 9:30, 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, 1:30 and 2:30 Friday and Saturday. The mini class will last about 20 minutes.

Explore a Molecular Genetics Lab

Turner Hall/ERML Tour a molecular genetics lab with ACES student, Geoff Benn. See tissue culture growth chambers for plant cultures and learn how students and faculty in Crop Sciences use molecular genetics to study soybeans and other plants. Meet in the north entryway of Turner Hall. Times: Friday-10 a.m., 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 1 p.m. 2 p.m. Saturday 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 1 p.m.
