Thuermer Proposes University Sex Courses

Bj Howie Sandstadt '88 Will the University of DllnoiS offer a course in sex lucation next mester or the one following? MIDA took a step in the direction of a positive answer to this question when it was voted to organize a committee t h a t will correlate all movements on the campus favoring a course in sex instruction following an animated discussion on the subject by Angus Thuermer '38 a t the weekly council meeting Monday night. Thuermer was appointed chairman of the committee which will meet with other organizations t h a t w a n t to see the movement p u t forth. He said, "It will be the purpose of this group to bring together into one body all scattered organizations who would be powerless in themselves and present a united petition to the University".
