1951] UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS HEARINGS ON UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS LEGISLATION 68 5 President Livingston announced that bills for appropriations to the University for operations and for buildings and other permanent improvements for the biennium of 1951-1953 had been introduced in the Sixty-seventh General Assembly and that hearings on these bills were scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, April 24, 1951, before the Senate and House Committees on Appropriations. He suggested that as many Trustees as could do so plan to attend these hearings. VISIT OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY President Livingston announced that the General Assembly of Illinois will make its biennial inspection of the University of Illinois, UrbanaChampaign Campus, on May 17 and 18, 1951, and suggested that as many Trustees as can do so be in Urbana for that event. MAY MEETING On motion of Mr. Fornof, the Board voted to hold its next meeting at Urbana-Champaign, on Friday evening, May 18, 1951, the hour to be determined later. L U N C H E O N WITH THE G O V E R N O R At this point, Governor Stevenson joined the Board. On motion of Mr. Fornof, the Board adjourned to be guests of the Governor at luncheon. A. J.
