MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS December 2 8 , 1950 The December meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held in the Illini Union Building, Urbana, Illinois, on Thursday, December 28, 1950, beginning at 10:30 a.m., according to the following announced schedule: 10:30 a.m. — Open session. 2:00 p.m. — Executive session, special order of business. The following members were present: President Williamson, Mr. Fornof, Mr. Herrick, Mr. Hickman, Mrs. Holt, Mr. Livingston, Mr. McLaughlin, Mr. Nickell, Mrs. Watkins. President Stoddard was present; also Provost C. R. Griffith, Comptroller Lloyd Morey, Mr. J. F. Wright, Director of Public Information, and Mr. A. J. Janata, Secretary of the Board. MINUTES APPROVED The Secretary presented the minutes of the meetings of September 29 and October 26, 1950, press proof copies of which had previously been sent to all members of the Board. On motion of Mr. Hickman, these minutes were approved as printed on pages 335 to 455, inclusive. 481
