MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS July 30, 1946 The July meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held on Tuesday, July 30, 1946, at the University Club, 76 East Monroe Street, Chicago, according to the following schedule: Executive session, as in Committee of the Whole, 11 a.m. Open session, 1 p.m. The following members were present: President Livingston, Mr. Davis, Mr. Fornof, Mrs. Grigsby, Dr. Luken, Mr. McKelvey, Mr. McLaughlin, Dr. Meyer, Mr. Nickell, Mr. Williamson. President Stoddard was present; also Mr. A. J. Janata, Assistant to the President, Mr. H. E. Cunningham, Secretary, Mr. Lloyd Morey, Comptroller, Mr. I. L. Porter, Treasurer, Mr. W. E. Britton, Legal Counsel, Professor C. R. Griffith, Provost, Mr. J. F. Wright, Director of Public Information. MINUTES APPROVED The Secretary presented the minutes of May 29, 1946. On motion of Dr. Meyer, the minutes were approved as printed on pages 1097 to 1148. I
