MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS March 9, 1948 The annual meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held on Tuesday, March 9, 1948, at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, according to the following schedule: 10 a.m. — Executive session as in Committee of the Whole. 2 p.m. — Open session. The following members were present: President Livingston, General Davis, Mr. Fornof, Mrs. Holt, Dr. Luken, Mr. McKelvey, Mr. McLaughlin, Mr. Nickell, Mr. Williamson. President Stoddard was present; also Provost C. R. Griffith, Assistants to the President A. J. Janata and Wilbur Schramm, Secretary H. E. Cunningham, Comptroller Lloyd Morey, Legal Counsel W. E. Britton, and, during part of the day, Mr. D. E. Dickason, Director of Nonacademic Personnel. 1039
