CUNNINGHAM PARK LIVINGSTON Secretary President MEETING OF T H E EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE DECEMBER 12, 1944 The Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois met at the University Club, 76 East Monroe Street, Chicago, at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 12, 1944. All the members of the Committee were present: Mr. Livingston, Chairman, Mr. Davis, and Mr. Jensen; also Mr. Fornof, Mr. McKelvey, and Mr. Nickell, members of the Board, who participated in the discussions and concurred in the actions taken; also President A. C. Willard, Provost C. R. Griffith, Major L. R. Lohr, and Secretary H. E. Cunningham. MATTERS PRESENTED BY PRESIDENT W I L L A R D The Executive Committee considered the following matters presented by the President of the University. AUTHORITY TO CONFER DEGREES (1) A recommendation that the President be authorized to confer degrees at the Commencement Exercises of the Colleges of Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy on December 15, 1944, on those candidates who have completed the requirements and have been certified for their respective degrees by the University Senate. On motion of Mr. Jensen, these degrees were authorized.
