848 BOARD OF TRUSTEES [March 18 The salaries recommended are computed on the basis of one-third of the salary of the academic year for a full quarter of service, with proportionate amounts for shorter periods or for part-time service. I recommend that these appointments to the summer quarter staff at the Medical Center be approved as submitted, and that the President of the University be authorized to accept resignations and make such changes and adjustments and additional appointments as are necessary in accordance with the needs of the University within the allocations of funds indicated. On motion of Mr. Jones, these appointments in the summer session budget for the Medical Center were approved and authority was given as requested.
