DIVISION OF SPECIAL SERVICES FOR WAR VETERANS (6) Following demobilization of the armed forces, many men and women will return to universities and colleges. A large number will be assisted by Federal or State scholarships. It is evident from legislation already introduced and from what has been said by national leaders, that all veterans who wish to get or to complete their college education will be given every reasonable facility to do so. These students at the University of Illinois will fall into the following classes: (1) students whose work has been interrupted, or who return for special purpose; (2) students who have attended other institutions for varying amounts of credit; (3) students who have finished high school but who have not yet been able to begin their college w o r k ; (4) students with or without civilian attendance at college who have been sent to A r m y Specialized Training or Navy College Training units. All these classes will have acquired training in one or more branches of armed service which they will wish to translate into college credit.
