MEETING O F T H E B O A R D O F T R U S T E E S OP THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS April 8, 1931 The April meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of I l li nois was held at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, at 10 o'clock a.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 1931. The following members were present: President Barr, Mr. Armstrong, Mr. Barrett, Mr. Blair, Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Grigsby, Mrs. Hopkins, Mr. Trees, Mr. Williams. President Chase was present; also, during part of the day, Mr. Capron, Treasurer, Judge Johnson, Legal Counsel, and Professor White, Supervising Architect. MINUTES PRESENTED The Secretary presented the minutes of the meeting of March u , 12, 1931. Action on the minutes was deferred (see page 212). 201
