MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES -OF THE- UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS October 20, 1917 A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held in the Trustees' room, at the University, in Urbana, at 10 a. m. on Saturday, October 20, 1917, pursuant to the following notice which was sent out by the Secretary on October 13, 1917. On the call of the President, Mr. W. L. Abbott, there will be a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois at 10 a. m. on Saturday, October 20, 1917, in the Trustees' room, at the University, in Urbana, to consider such matters as the committees of the Board and the President of the University may submit, and such other matters as may be duly presented. When the Board convened, the following members were present: President Abbott, Mrs. Busey, Mr. Carr, Mrs. Evans, Mr. Taggart, Miss Watson. President James was present. As there was no quorum, the Board took a recess until 2 p. m. H. E. CUNNINGHAM W. L.
