University of Illinois: Virtual Campus Tour
A UIHistories Project by Kalev Leetaru

Main Campus

While the University has invested heavily in revitalizing its engineering campus to keep task with the onward march of technology, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences has chosen to remain in the historic buildings that have formed the image of campus for the better part of the last century. The College is based in the "old" campus, largely situated around the main quadrangle, a staple on campus for more than 100 years. The buildings in main campus represent hallowed ground: from memorializing the first President of the University, to playing home to the second oldest building on campus, the quad is a living monument to the ages, holding countless memories for the myriad students that have called this University "home".

Take a virtual tour of some of the buildings on the main campus below, or select another area of campus from the navigation bar at the right of the page.
