A UIHistories Project by Kalev Leetaru

Engineering

The University of Illinois boasts a nationally-recognized engineering program, with several departments among the top in the country. The section of campus north of Green Street, known affectionately as "North of Green", is the heart of engineering campus, a campus within a campus stretching all the way to University Avenue. North of Green even features its own quadrangle, named in 2004 for John Bardeen, who taught at the University for many years.

Take a virtual tour of engineering campus below, or select another area of campus from the navigation bar at the right of the page.
