Section 5 — Penalties for Violation and Noncompliance

A. Violation of any part of l jit; bicycle regulations will constitut of fern j under the following cat >ri< : 1. Violation of parking r trictions i ntained in or authorized by . ction 4

above. a. For violation of this category, a cash penalty of $1 will be assessed. In addition, the bicycK may also be impounded. 2. Failure to comply with the registration requirements outlined in Section 2 above. a. For violation of this category, a cash penalty of $2 will be assessed. In addition, the bicycle may also be impounded. 3. If the bicycle is not used in conformity with the provisions of Section 3 above regarding the operation of bicycles. a. For violation of this category, a cash penalty of $3 will be assessed. B. Payment of Penalties 1. Assessed penalties for violations indicated above shall be payable at the Bursar's Office within five days of the date of violation. 2. Failure to pay an assessed penalty within the live day period shall be cause for suspension or revocation of all bicycle permits held by the violator.
