3. APPOINTMENTS TO SCHOLARSHIPS

The awarding of scholarships in A ulturc ami Home Economics is made on the followin] basis:

(a) Competitive Examination. All

arship examination which is held each year in each county on the last Saturday in March. In counties from which there is more than one candidate, the scholarship is awarded to the candidate who ranks highest in the examination, if he is otherwise eligible. (See examination outline below.) (IA University Registration, All candidates who are awarded scholarships must n ister in the University for a curriculum in Agriculture or Home Economics at the Opening oi the semester or summer session when the scholarship b( omes eth tive. Failure to do so forfeits the scholarship, (c) Notice to County Superintendent. Students who plan to write the examination should

notify the county superintendent of schools in

the county where they reside of their intention

two weeks in advance of the examination date in order that sufficient questions will 1 ivailable,

4. PERIOD OF SCHOLARSHIP

An Agriculture or Home Economics scholarship is good for four y< irs unless suspended i forfeited for reasons stated in paragraphs and 8
