A general lounge, of impressive size, is a feature, with auxiliary lounges, off the m a i n lobby, for m e n a n d for women. These are for informal assembly, for study, a n d for rest a n d relaxation. Plans have also been made to provide offices for t h e Dean of M e n a n d the Dean of W o m e n a n d their staff; executive offices for t h e A l u m n i Association, t h e University Foundation, the Student A l u m n i Association, a n d other general organizations, such as t h e Men's Illinois U n i o n ; Women's League; Women's Group System; I n d e p e n d e n t Council; Student Senate; Concert a n d Entertainment Board, a n d student publications- I n addition, ample provision is made for rooms for special student groups a n d committees, for exclusive or joint use, a n d for booths for ticket sales for University events a n d functions*
