The solution began to come clear in 1941. In January of that year the name of the Advisory Committee was changed to "Illini Union Board," which w to supervise the general student program within th building with the aid and cooperation oi the Men's League and the Woman's League. In August oi th following year, growing out <>\ the previous longstanding and formative organizations, the present Illini Union Hoard was established.
