SECRETARY'S REPORT

The secretary presented for record appointments to the faculty and changes of status made by the president, resignations, and leaves of absence.

ANNOUNCEMENTS FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD

President Howard called attention to the schedule of meetings for the first three months of 1978: January 18 (annual meeting), Urbana; February 15, Chicago Circle; March 15, Urbana. He also announced that an executive session had been requested and would be convened after the meeting to consider reports on pending litigation.
