1975] UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS 465 Following his comments, Mr. James Gallivan, Supervisor of Insurance, presented and reviewed an analysis of the University's exposure to loss from medical malpractice claims, faculty and staff members' exposure to personal risk and liability claims, and related matters. He presented a plan for insurance, involving selfinsurance and the purchase of excess liability insurance. (A detailed document outlining the proposal is filed with the Secretary of the Board for record.) No action of the Trustees was requested at this time; rather, Vice President Brady asked for a general consensus that the plan as outlined be pursued and specific recommendations with regard to it be brought to the Board for action at a later date.
