Mr. Earl M . Hughes, President of the Board, presented the following statement for action: T h e Board calls attention to the fact that appropriate review procedures for nonreappointment actions exist at each of the campuses. T h e Trustees do not wish to further extend such reviews. Accordingly, the requests are denied. O n motion of M r . Steger, the statement was approved without dissent. University Response Concerning the Establishment of a Law School in Springfield President Corbally presented a n d distributed copies of the University's response concerning this subject as prescribed by action of the Board of Trustees in October. REGULAR AGENDA The Board considered the following reports a n d recommendations from the President of the University. Award of Certified Public Accountant Certificates (2) The Committee on Accountancy recommends that the certificate of Certified Public Accountant be awarded, under Section 5 of the Illinois Accountancy Act of 1943, as amended, to six candidates who have presented evidence that they are holders of valid and unrevoked Certified Public Accountant certificates obtained by passing a standard written examination in another state or territory of the United States and who qualify in all other respects under this provision of the law. The names of the candidates are filed with the Secretary. I concur. On motion of Mr. Forsyth, these certificates were awarded. Advisory Committee, College of Commerce and Business Administration, Urbana (3) The Dean of the College of Commerce and Business Administration has recommended to the Chancellor at Urbana-Champaign the following new appointments to the Advisory Committee for that College, the terms to expire on August 31, 1978.
