RESOLUTION TO ROGER P O G U E

M r . H u g h e s presented the following resolution in honor of M r . Pogue. Although your tenure as Trustee has been brief, your rapid adjustment to the responsibilities of trusteeship has enabled you to contribute with extraordinary effectiveness to the work of the Board. Your service in leadership positions in the University Alumni Association, as well as in numerous other civic and business enterprises, has been reflected in your thorough understanding of the mission of the University and the nature of the trusteeship function. During the two years in which you have been a part of this Board's deliberations, you have brought to us all wisdom, poise, and calm judgment. For your faithful service to the University and for your dedication to the work of this Board, we are indeed grateful. The President and other administrative officers of the University join with the Board in this tribute to you and in extending best wishes to you and Mrs. Pogue. The Board of Trustees directs that this resolution be incorporated in the minutes of today's meeting to become a part of the official public record, and that a suitable copy be given you as a permanent reminder of the esteem and affection in which you are held. O n motion of M r . Forsyth, this resolution was adopted by a standing vote.
