Reynolds was designated chairman of the convention pro tern. On motion of Prof. Turner, it was voted that the secretaries prepare the minutes of this convention for publication in the city papers of Springfield, and the agricultural papers of the State, and that the press generally throughout the State be requested to publish the same.
