Frances V. Doneghy, B S.'29, was granted leave of absence from the University of Minnesota Library, so she could accept a Fellowship in the Division of General Studies of the Graduate School of Yale University New Haven, Connecticut, September-June, 1941-42. is now an assistant at the Louisiana Library Commission, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Catherine White Grout, B.S/29, cataloger at Brown University Library Providence, R. I., since 1929, died October 24, 1940, after a long illness. Florence B. Morgan, B.S/29, and M.S. from Columbia University, 1936, resigned her position in the Catalog Department of the Queens Borough Public Library, Jamaica, New York, to accept the position of cataloger at the Agricultural and Mechanical College at College Station, Texas, December 1, 1941. Gerald H. Sandy, B.S.'29, M.A/32, resigned his position at the University of Illinois Library, Urbana, to become librarian of the Kansas City, Kansas, Public Library, July, 1941. • Thelma J. Van Ness, B.S/29, is now librarian of the Withers Public Library, Bloomington, Illinois. H. Katherine Kirtley Weed, B.S/29, is now assistant reference librarian at the University of North Carolina Library, Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Kathryn S.
