She returned W to Street, New York City. In January she started work at the Cooper Union Museum in the city assisting in the preparation of the catalog of Japanese sword fittings as a part of the work. She has the care of the collection, research in German and F r e n c h on designs, symbolism, makers, etc. Margaret C. Rehiring, B.S. '37, resigned her position as librarian of the Junior C liege Library, Ironwood, Mich. During the summer session she taught Library Science at Mary wood College, Scranton, Pa. Last fall she became librarian of the W i t h r o w H i g h School Library, Cincinnati, O. Lucille H. Putz, S.S. '37 and '38, resigned her position at St. Viator College Library, Bourbonnais, 111., and is now teacher-librarian of the Township High School, Antioch, 111. Robert M. Orr, B.S. '37, is now in the Gabriel Richard Branch of the Detroit Public Library and is enjoying his work. H e writes: "It is nice to see more Illinois people coming h e r e ; we have a large group and see each other frequently." Elizabeth D. Knapp, B.S. '37, is resigning her position as librarian of the Boughton Branch of the Youngston Public Library to accept a similar position in a branch of the New York Public Library. Pearl E. Amundson, S.S. '37, S.S. '38, resigned as teacher-librarian, of the Badger, Minn., High School to accept a similar position at the Kansas, 111., High School starting September 1938. Edith P. Dunlavy, B.S. '37, has been an assistant in the Publishing Department of A. C. McClurg & Co., Chicago, this year. Anne L. Corbitt, B.S. '37, after June, 1939, will be an assistant in the Graduate Division of Training in Public Service and Reference Room, New York University Library, New York City. ftancy A. Raisbeck, S.S. '37, and S.S. '38, is librarian of the East Altonwood River Community High School, W o o d River, 111. Clarence S. Paine, B.S. '37, resigned his position in the catalog department of the University of Illinois Library, to become librarian of the Library at Beloit College, Beloit, Wis., September 1, 1938. Mrs. Paine was Ruth Moore, '37. Their home address is 737 Park Avenue. Frances L. Macoughtry, B.S. '37, has resigned her position in the catalog department of Cornell University Library, Ithaca, N. Y., to accept a position in the catalog department of the Pennsylvania State College Library, State College. Lois M. Lympus, B.S. '37, resigned her position as Head of the catalog department of the Lincoln Nebr., Public Library, recently to become librarian of the Urbana, 111., High School Library. She began her new duties, November 28th. Alice M. Lohrer, B.S. '37, was reviser for the University of Illinois Lib ra ry School this summer during the summer session.
