'29, resigned her position at the Illinois State Library Extension Division at Springfield to accept the position of librarian » the Public Library at Urbana, Illinois. f ^ • K a t h e r i n e A. Brose, B.S. '29, a member of the staff of Mills College Library, Oakland, California, has been doing graduate work at the University of Illinois Library School this year. She was awarded the Katharine L. Sharp Scholarship. Katherine E. Buhrman, B.S. '29, resigned her position as reference assistant at the Illinois State Historical Library at Springfield, to accept a position in the Extension Division of the Illinois State Library at Springfield. Gladyce C. Collopy, B.S. '29, has recently been married to Mr. Ervin A. Lauch and they are living at 705 North Jefferson Street, Peoria, Illinois. M. Malvena Evans, B.S. '29, resigned her position with the University of Tennessee to be assistant cataloger at the University of Missouri, Columbia, Mi^ouri. Edna Gustafson, B.S. '29, Denver, Colorado, spent three months last summer touring the Scandinavian countries. Her mother traveled with her and they |ited relatives in Sweden and Finland. E. Margaret Patton, B.S. '29, resigned her position in the reference department of Wichita, Kansas, Public Library, to become reference assistant in the Ryerson Library, Art Institute, Chicago. Arnold W. Rosaaen, B.S. '29, M.A. '35, was on July 1 promoted to the librarianship of Adelbert College, Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio. Nelle E. Steider (now Mrs. Clinton B. Skinner), B.S. '29, and Mr. Skinner announce the birth of a son. Mr. and Mrs. Skinner are living at 319 North Rockford Street, Rockford, Illi nois. I E. Opal Stone, B.S. '29, resigned her position at the Southern Illinois State (Normal University Library at Carbondale, to become assistant professor, School of Library Service at the University of Southern California at Los Angeles. Florence S. Wood, B.S. '29, librarian of Christian College, Columbia, Misouri, has resigned to take a position in the Western College for Women • Oxford, Ohio. _, £ . I Elizabeth Wyant, B.S. '29, writes that she spent the summer on a wonderful Cruise to North Cape and Russia. In June she resigned from a position with the W.P.A. supervising a rural Cook County library project, and has accepted a position in the order department of the Northwestern University Library at Evanston. '30, resigned her position in the order department at Northwestern University to accept a similar position at the Kansas Uty, Missouri, Public Library. . .. . . , Mrs. Marguerite H. Anderson, B.S. UM w Nellie R. Myers (Mrs. Bernie L. McNabb), B.S. 30, is living at 1100 West Cherry Street, Marion, Illinois. She now has two litte girls. Mildred A. Nelson, B.S. '30, who has been teacher-librarian of the Wasatch Academy at Mt. Pleasant, Utah, is now librarian of the Mission, Texas, High School.
