Neies Letter, 1915

(Virginia Elinor Tillia. U.S. '31. is no longer in library work, but is now • r s . Ott ami living in Butialo, New York. Helen L. Bant/, s.s. '31, was married June 9, 1934 to Dr. R. W. Steube M r , Steube was Librarian of the Roosevelt Junior High School at Aberdeen, South Dakota, before her marriage. Dr. and Mrs. Steube are residing at Alexandria, Minnesota. Helen M. Phillips, s.s. '31, is an assistant in the Lincoln Library at ^ringfield, Illinois. I Arie Porter, s.s. '31, who was married in 1932 and formerly Librarian of the Roxie, Mississippi, High School, has a new daughter. Virginia Rinard, M.A. '32, resigned her position at the Indiana State Teachers College at Terre Haute, Indiana, to become Children's Librarian at the Waukegan, Illinois, Public Library. Gerald H. Sandy, M.A. '32, has resigned his position in the Reference Department to be assistant in charge of the Exchange Division at the University of Illinois Library. I Wilma A. Troxel, M.A. '32, resigned her position last September as Assistant in the U. of I. Catalog department to accept the position of : brarian of the College of Medicine Library, University of Illinois, Chigo, Illinois. Mary Louise Anderson, B.S. '32, resigned her position as Periodical id Documents Librarian, A. & M. College of Texas, College Station, exas, and was married to Mr. Otis E. Burk, August 2, at Dallas, Texas, hey are making their home at Perryton, Texas. Mrs. Burk is librarian of e local High School. [ E. Pauline Ashley, B.S. '32, is an Assistant in the Irvington Branch of he Public Library, Indianapolis, Indiana. S. Louise Borchelt, B.S. '32, began work as an Assistant in the Public Library, Evanston, Illinois, Feb. 1, 1935. Vera L. Brizius, B.S. '32, is now an Assistant in the Broad Ripple Branch of the Public Library at Indianapolis. Pauline Calendine, B.S. '32, is studying at the University of Illinois this year and working part time in the Education Seminar. Harmon J. Chamberlain, B.S. '32, began work as Assistant in the Document Section, Department of War, Army Medical Library, S.G.O., Washington, D.C., Feb. 1, 1935. Mary H. Clay, B.S. '32, resigned her position as Librarian and Instructor in Library Science at the Ouachita Parish Junior College, Monroe, Louisiana, to accept the Librarianship of the Baylor College for Women at Belton, Texas, last fall. Eunice Collins, B.S. '32, was married on June 29, 1934 to Dr. Carl 0 . Mohr of the Illinois State Natural History Department. They are at home at 511 West Nevada Street, Urbana, 111. Mrs. Mohr will retain her Position as Librarian of the Journalism department of the University of Illinois. Lois Cowgill, B.S. '32, is now Head of the Catalog department of Butler University Library, Indianapolis, Indiana. Sallie E. Cuming. B.S. '32, has returned from France ami is now working at the New Orleans Council of Social Agencies. Her address is Apartment 6, 3308 Prytania Street, New Orleans.
