With this idea the I resident appointed several district chairmen to arrant ^ reunions among the alumni gathered at state meetings. It was o t in the ta" that very few appointments could be made. However the fol ol lowing interesting reports were received: ~ Indiana.—Norris Talley wrote that she "gathered the alumni together for a breakfast at the Indiana state meeting. Those present were Esther Schhmdt, Ruth Rothenberger, Ella Hodges, Nelle Coates, Bernice Dunton Helen Clark, Hazel Whiteleather, Verna Pate, Dorothy Hurst, Margaret Hager, Norris Talley, and Elizabeth Ann Hinckley. The informal meeting was so much enjoyed that Helen Clark was appointed, President and Elizabeth Ann Hinckley, Secretary, to arrange for a similar meeting'next year." Kentucky.—Margaret H. Tuttle writes: "I want to tell you of the entlflisiasm which bubbled over at our second state reunion, which was held when the Kentucky Library Association met at Richmond in November. The ten alumni registered at the meeting, held a breakfast together, and all of them paid their dues. Later in the day another arrived and she also paid her dues. Were we proud of our 100 percent record? Those of us who had attended the Illinois dinner at A.L.A. tried to pass on some of the inspiration of that occasion. We intend to round up the other alumni in the state and form a Kentucky Club. Our aim is to promote sociability among our group, in time we might even undertake a project of some kind. Margaret H. Tuttle was elected president and Susan E. Miller, treasurer. I do hope that the alumni in other states have as good times as we do. The eleven paid up members are Mrs. Murison Dunn (Ada Barter), Elizabeth Hanson, Lena Nofcier, Perma Rich, Edna Rothe, Susan E. Miller, Frances Wallace, Annie Sue Montgomery, lone Williams, Mary Elizabeth House, Margaret H. Tuttle. Evelyn J. Schneider, who was not able to attend, is a Life Member.
