William O. Baehr, M.A. '30, finished his work for his Ph.D. degree at the Graduate School of Library Science, University of Chicago, and has accepted the position of associate librarian of Augustana College, Rock Island. Illinois. Nellie M. Bredehoft, B.S. '30, has a temporary position in the Library Extension Division of the Illinois State Library at Springfield. Frances Burrage, B.S. '30, has been appointed head cataloger at the ^ • f c M. College Library at College Station, Texas. Evelyn Elliott, B.S. '30, has accepted the position of assistant librarian, Senior High School Library, Topeka, Kansas. Katherine Fox, B.S. '30, was married to Mr. Galloway Allen in December, 1932. She has kept her position in the Southern Illinois State Teachers College Library at Carbondale, Illinois. Her home address is 206 South Poplar Street. Beatrice Odell Green, B.S. '30, was married on August 17, 1932, to Dr. W. H. Wilson. From 1931 to the spring of 1933 she was an assistant librarian at Howard University, Washington, D.C. She and her husband are now living at 811 E . Seminary Street, Danville, Illinois, and she commutes to the University to take several graduate courses in English. Marceline Grignon, B.S. '30, has opened a book shop called "Marcy's Book Shop" at Appleton* Wisconsin. Her attractive announcement offers, "Books to sell, Books to rent, Books from your private library mended, rebound and catalogued. Book plates individually designed." A children's rental library was a special attraction. Ruby H . Mauch, B.S. '30, formerly assistant librarian of the Black Hills Teachers College at Spearfish, South Dakota, has been appointed librarian of the Hyde County Library, Highmore, South Dakota. Susan E . Miller, B.S. '30, librarian of the Henry Clay High School at Lexington, Kentucky, writes that she has been helping plan afinenew addition to her library which will be opened in the fall. Genevra Parker, B.S. '30, was married January 27, 1934, to Mr. Austin True. Mrs. True will continue in her position as assistant, Catalog Department, State University of Iowa, Iowa City. Blanche D. Hargis Roehm, B.S. '30, is doing temporary work in the Public Library at Santa Barbara, California. Samuel Suleman Isa, B.S. '30, is now a minister of a neuro church in Cincinnati. His address is 717 Gholson Ave. Bertha K. Wilson, B.S. '30, is librarian, Fort Roots, U.S. Veterans Hospital Library, North Little Rock, Arkansas. Lena Louise Adcock, B.S. '31, was married to William B. Jencks, Dee. 23, 1933, at Ottawa, Illinois. Mrs. Jencks is an assistant in the Order lepartment at the State University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa. Evelyn C. Beamer, B.S. '31, is working in the Filing department 01 the Vlishawaka Woolen and Rubber Manufacturing Co., Mishawaka. Indiana. Emma K. Bergman, B.S. '31, is now assistant librarian at Shurtleff College, Alton, Illinois.
