REPORT OF GIFTS AND GRANTS RECEIVED BY THE UNIVERSITY (18) T h e following gifts and grants of funds received by the University have been accepted by the President in accordance with the statutory procedure and are now being reported for official record. Colleges and Schools at U rbana-Champaign A. Undergraduate Scholarships, Prizes, and Other Financial Aids 1. Agriculture Club, $48.57 for scholarships. 2. Alpha Alpha Chapter of Alpha P h i Omega, national service fraternity, $250 for scholarships for the academic year 1952-1953. 3. American Legion Auxiliary, Department of Illinois, $1,000 for a scholarship for one year of study in a Latin-American university, beginning March, I9S34. Estate of Margaret Anderson, $5,000 to be added to the William Anderson Memorial Scholarship in Music. 5. Anonymous, $41 for general undergraduate scholarship funds. 6. Campus Chest, University of Illinois (undergraduate fund raising organization), $900 for undergraduate scholarships. 7. Ceco Steel Products Corporation, Cicero, $2,000 for scholarships in engineering. (This gift supplements a previous grant of $4,000 for scholarships for I952-I954-) 8. Central Mining Supply Company, $200 for the Alfred Pickard Scholarship in mining engineering for the academic year 1952-1953. 9. Chicago Farmers, $500 for the continuation of a scholarship in the College of Agriculture.
