DEFAULT O F BDN S T E E L E R E C T I N G COMPANY (17) At its September 29, 1950, meeting the Board of Trustees approved a purchase contract with the B D N Steel Erecting Company of Chicago, which had submitted the lower of two bids, for dismantling a 550-foot steel tower with F M antenna and dual coaxial cable and lighting system at Richfield, Wisconsin, transporting the same to Robert Allerton Park, and painting and erecting it there. The contract price was $12,600 and a performance bond, with the American Casualty Company of Reading, Pennsylvania, as surety thereon, was furnished by B D N Steel Erecting Company.
