CONTRACTS FOR BOTANY ANNEX GREENHOUSE IMPROVEMENTS (13) T h e Director of the Physical Plant and the Comptroller recommend award of contracts for remodeling and other improvements in the Botany Annex Greenhouse to the following lowest bidders: General — Kuhne-Simmons Company, Champaign $13 086 Electrical — Bean Electric and Hardware, Urbana 3 665 Plumbing — Reliable Plumbing and Heating Company, Champaign 4 595 Heating and Temperature Control W o r k — Reliable Plumbing and Heating Company, Champaign 6 295 An appropriation for these improvements is being recommended to the Board separately. I concur and recommend that the Comptroller and the Secretary of the Board be authorized to execute these contracts.

On motion of Mrs. Holt, these contracts were authorized.

CONTRACT FOR REFRIGERATION INSTALLATION IN DAIRY MANUFACTURES BUILDING (14) The Director of the Physical Plant and the Comptroller recommend award of a contract for $6,095 to the Westerlin and Campbell Company, Peoria, the lowest bidder, for refrigeration installations in the Dairy Manufactures Building. This is a part of the improvements in the cheese room for which an appropriation is being recommended separately. I concur and recommend that the Comptroller and the Secretary of the Board be authorized to execute this contract.

On motion of Mr. Grange, this contract was authorized.
