VERNON L. KRETSCHMER, Director of the Mini Union and Director of Housing, beginning October 15, 1952, at an annual salary of $10,200 ( D Y ) (MU). 2. RICHARD M. BROWN, Research Assistant Professor of Physics beginning September 1, 1952, at an annual salary of $9,420 ( D Y ) . 3. VICTOR E. RICKS, Assistant Professor of Education, Division of Social Sciences, Chicago Undergraduate Division, beginning September 1, 1952, at an annual salary of $5,400 ( D ) . 4. LESTER DALY W H I T E , Assistant Professor of Architecture, Chicago Undergraduate Division, beginning September 1, 1952, at an annual salary of $6,000 ( D ) . On motion of Mr. Hickman, these appointments were confirmed. RESIGNATION OF DEAN STANLEY W . OLSON (3) Dr. Stanley W . Olson has resigned his position as Dean of the College of Medicine, Medical Director of the Research and Educational Hospitals, Medical Director of the Illinois Eye and E a r Infirmary, and Professor of Medicine, effective January 1, 1953, to accept the position of Dean of the College of Medicine at Baylor University, Houston, Texas. I have accepted his resignation and report it for record. On motion of Mr. Johnston, this resignation was accepted. COLLEGE ADVISORY COMMITTEES IN AGRICULTURE (4) T h e Dean of the College of Agriculture recommends the following appointments to advisory committees for the College of Agriculture and the Agricultural Experiment Station for a term of three years beginning September 1, 1952: Agricultural Economics Agricultural Engineering GEORGE P .
