1228 BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE [February 18 On call of the Chairman and pursuant to written notice, a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the LaSalle Hotel, Chicago, Illinois, on Thursday, February 18, 1954, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Mr. Park Livingston, Chairman, and Mrs. Frances B. Watkins were present; Mr. Herbert B. Megran was absent. Also present were Messrs. Wirt Herrick, Robert Z. Hickman, and Wayne A. Johnston of the Board of Trustees, who participated in the discussions of the items of business considered by the Executive Committee, and the officers of the Board and of the University who were present when the Board convened. BUSINESS PRESENTED BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNIVERSITY The Executive Committee considered the following reports and recommendations from the President of the University. AWARD OF CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT CERTIFICATES (1) The Committee on Accountancy recommends that the certificate of Certified Public Accountant be awarded to the following candidates who passed the standard examination given November 4-6, 1953, and who have fulfilled all other legal requirements under Sections 1, 2, and 3 of the Illinois.
