required by law to do so, it is the practice of the University to send the biennial report to each member of the General Assembly, along with the financial reports of the Comptroller for the same period. Copies of the biennial report are also sent to all members of the Board of Trustees, to former members of the Board, and to deans directors, and administrative officers having need for the same. A supply is given to the L i b r a r y for exchange with other libraries. There were nine h u n d r e d copies of the 1950-1952 volume printed. F r o m time to time, newspaper reporters and other individuals have asked for copies of this report. T h e Secretary requests instructions. O n motion of Mr. Johnston, the Secretary was authorized to supply any individuals and organizations having a legitimate interest in these reports with copies of the same.

FEBRUARY MEETING

O n motion of M r s . Watkins, the Board voted to hold its February meeting on T h u r s d a y , F e b r u a r y 18, 1954, beginning at 10:00 a.m., in the LaSalle Hotel, Chicago, Illinois.

A N N U A L MEETING

O n motion of Mr. Herrick, the Board voted to change the date of the annual meeting in 1954 from the second Tuesday ( M a r c h 9) to Saturday, M a r c h 20, 1954, beginning at 10:00 a.m., to be held in the LaSalle Hotel, Chicago, Illinois.
