ADDITION TO CONTRACT FOR L I N C O L N A V E N U E RESIDENCE HALLS ADDITION ( n ) The Director of the Physical Plant Department and the Vice-President and Comptroller recommend an increase of $11,909 in the contract with the FelmleyDickerson Company, Champaign, for the construction of the addition to the Lincoln Avenue Residence to provide for reinforced concrete retaining walls, back fill, iron railings and steps on each side of the main entrance porch. The retaining walls will close off the sunken courts which provide light for basement rooms. I concur and recommend that the Comptroller be authorized to execute the contract change order. O n motion of Mr. Swain, the Comptroller was authorized to execute this change in the contract. PURCHASES (12) The Director of Purchases has proposed and the Vice-President and Comptroller recommends the following purchases. Unless otherwise specified, the purchase in each case is recommended on the basis of lowest bid. I concur.
