APPOINTMENTS TO T H E FACULTY (5) T h e following new appointments to the faculty of the rank of Assistant Professor and above, and involving tenure, have been approved since the previous meeting of the Board of Trustees. 1. DANIEL ALPERT, Research Professor and Technical Director in Control Systems Laboratory ( D Y ) , and Research Professor of Physics ( A Y ) , beginning July 15, 1957, at an annual salary of $18,000. 2. SOL BERNICK, Assistant Professor of Histology, College of Dentistry, beginning September 1, 1957, on 7/10 time, at an annual salary of $8,000 (BY70). 3. OSCAR H . DODSON, Assistant Professor of History, beginning September 1, 1957. at an annual salary of $5,650 ( B ) . 4. ROBERT M. ENDO, Assistant Professor of Plant Pathology, in the Agricultural Experiment Station, beginning September 1, 1957, without salary ( B Y ) . 5. LLOYD G.
