The Secretary presented the minutes of the meetings of the Board of Trustees on February 18, 1958, and March 11, 1958, press proof copies of which have previously been sent to the Board. On motion of Mrs. Watkins, these minutes were approved as printed on pages 1103 to 1171, inclusive. BUSINESS PRESENTED BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNIVERSITY The Board took up consideration of the following reports and recommendations from the President of the University.

APPOINTMENTS TO T H E FACULTY (1) T h e following new appointments to the faculty of the rank of Assistant Professor and above, and involving tenure, have been approved since the previous meeting of the Board of Trustees. 1.
