MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS June 25, 1949 With Actions of the Executive Committee of June 9, 16, and 2 1 , 1949 The June meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held on Saturday, June 25, 1949, at the LaSalle Hotel in Chicago according to the following schedule: 9:00 a.m. — Executive session, Committee of the Whole. n :oo a.m. — Open session. The following members were present: President Williamson, Mr. Fornof, Mr. Herrick, Mr. Hickman, Mrs. Holt, Mr. Livingston, Mr. McLaughlin, Mr. Nickell, Mrs. Watkins; absent, Dr. Meyer, Governor Stevenson. President Stoddard was present; also, Mr. Irvin L. Porter, Treasurer, Vice-President A. C. Ivy, Comptroller Lloyd Morey, A. J. Janata, Assistant to the President, and, during part of the meeting, Messrs. Newton C. Farr, Real Estate Consultant to the Board on acquisition of Chicago properties, W. E. Britton, Legal Counsel, and C. Lincoln Williston, Manager of Public Information for the Chicago Divisions. 401
