December, 1947, who are occupants of nine three-flat buildings acquired by the University in Chicago during the years 1943-1946 and located at 825, 827, 829, 831, 837, 839, 907, 917, and 919 South Wood Street and a stone building located at 1923 West Polk Street. Judgments of eviction have been obtained in these cases. Writs of Restitution have been stayed until April 21, 1948. In a few cases by stipulation a Writ of Restitution will be available prior to April 21, 1948. By action of the Board of Trustees on October 30, 1947, Mr. Joseph Lowitz of Chicago was retained for the purpose of having charge of this litigation.

SALARY ADJUSTMENTS IN THE ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION (14) T h e Board of Directors of the Athletic Association requests approval of the following salary adjustments approved at their meeting on December 29, 1947. These adjustments are to be effective March I, 1948, for the year 1948-1949. Unless otherwise indicated, salaries are paid in part by the University.
