AWARD OF CERTIFICATES OF CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT (3) T h e Committee on Accountancy recommends that the certificate of Certified Public Accountant be awarded the following who have made applications therefor under the Accountancy Act of 1943 and who have presented evidence to the Committee that they are properly qualified: 1. T h e following persons are recommended for the Illinois C.P.A. certificate on the basis of having satisfactorily passed an examination given by the Special Five-Man Board of Examiners on May 24, 1947 (Section 4b) :

The Committee also recommends that the C.P.A. certificate be awarded to ROBERT F . ZECH of Chicago, who was a candidate in the November, 1946, C.P.A. examination. At that time he was reported as having failed the Commercial Law section which he was writing as a condition candidate under Rule 33. At his request his papers were regraded by the Board of Examiners and he is now certified as having passed the Commercial Law section of the examination. Mr. Zech is therefore eligible for the C.P.A. certificate and it should be awarded as of March 27, 1947, the date on which the other certificates for the November, 1946, examination were approved by the Board of Trustees. The following persons are recommended for the Illinois C.P.A. certificate on the basis of having fulfilled all the requirements and having passed the C.P.A. examination which was given in May, 1947:
