The proposal from G. L. Tarlton Construction Co. was based on acceptance of "all or none" of the work. On June 2, 1947, they expressed willingness to accept a contract for items 1 and 2 with the understanding that a contract will be awarded to them for item 3 if funds are made available within the construction period. The Director of the Physical Plant recommends the award of the contracts for the laying of cast iron water pipe and for the concrete reservoir to the G. L. Tarlton Construction Co. on the basis of their lowest bid and the award of the contract for the construction of the storm sewers to the same company subject to availability of funds. If they are not available by August I, 1947, the storm sewers award shall be null and void. I concur in these recommendations and request authorization of contracts in accordance with the conditions outlined above. O n m o t i o n of M r .
