(21) The Comptroller presents his quarterly report to the Board as of December 31, 1946. Copies of this report have been sent to all members of the Board in advance of this meeting. This report was received for record.

UTILITY AND FIXED EQUIPMENT CONTRACTS FOR W O M E N ' S RESIDENCE HALL

(22) Bids for utility and fixed equipment contracts for the new Women's Residence Hall were opened February 7. A complete schedule of bids is submitted herewith. The total of lowest bids is $692,671, but funds are not now available for this amount. It is therefore proposed that contracts be made with lowest bidders for such work as can be completed within present appropriations and by September 30, 1947, with the understanding that when and if additional funds become available prior to August 1, 1947, the contracts will be extended to the full amounts of the bids. If additional funds are not received the contracts will be terminated and the actual amounts of work finished will be paid for as certified by the architects.
