MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS December 28, 1946 The December meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held on Saturday, December 28, 1946, at the University Club, 76 East Monroe Street, Chicago, according to the following schedule: 10:00 a.m. — Executive session as in Committee of the Whole. 12:00 m. — Open session. When the Board convened, the following members were present: President Livingston, General Davis, Mr. Fornof, Mr. McKelvey, Mr. McLaughlin, Mr. Nickell. Dr. Meyer took his place with the Board during the morning. President Stoddard was present; also Mr. A. J. Janata, Assistant to the President, Mr. H. E. Cunningham, Secretary, Mr. I. L. Porter, Treasurer, Mr. Lloyd Morey, Comptroller, Professor C. R. Griffith, Provost, and Professor W. E. Britton, Legal Counsel. MINUTES APPROVED The Secretary presented the minutes of the meetings of October 21 and 22 and November 22, 1946. On motion of Mr. Davis, the minutes were approved as printed on pages 113 to 190 above. 191
