I948] UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS III3 EXECUTIVE SESSION At this point, the Board went into executive session. W O M E N ' S RESIDENCE HALLS Mr. T. L. Warner, Mr. Albert, and Mr. L. A. Lawson, Attorney, representing the Warner Construction Company, were introduced. On request of Mr. Warner, Mr. Lawson made a statement concerning the contract for the Women's Residence Halls, and the progress of construction. On motion of Dr. Meyer, this matter was referred to the Committee on Buildings and Grounds, to prepare, with the Legal Counsel, a stipulation of facts and to report to the Board. SECRETARY'S REPORTS The Secretary presented the following lists for record, as printed in the Appendix. 1. Appointments made by the President of the University (page 1114). 2. Graduate Fellows (page 1117). 3. Allerton Scholarships (page 1118). 4. Resignations, declinations, and cancellations (page 1118). The Board adjourned. H. E. CUNNINGHAM JOHN R.
