1942] UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS 935 LEAVES OF ABSENCE FOR WAR SERVICE, 1 9 4 2 - 1 9 4 3 (37) T h e regulations of the Board of Trustees governing leaves of absence for military, naval, or other war service, provide that leaves granted for limited periods, such as until the close of the academic year 1941-1942, may be extended beyond September I, 1942, at the discretion of the President. Accordingly, leaves of absence for one year beginning September I, 1942, without pay (except as indicated in one case), have been granted to the following members of the staff.
