MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS April 22, 1942 The April meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the Chicago Illini Union Building, in Chicago, at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 1942. When the Board convened, the following members were present: President Meyer, Mr. Adams, Mr. Davis, Mr. Fornof, Mrs. Grigsby, Mr. Jensen, Mr. Karraker, Mr. Livingston. Mr. Clearv took his place with the Board during the forenoon. President Willard was present; also Mr. A. J. Janata, Assistant to the President, Mr. H. E. Cunningham, Secretary, Mr. Lloyd Morey, Comptroller, Mr. C. S. Havens, Director of the Physical Plant Department, and Mr. J. F. Wright, Director of Public Information. MINUTES APPROVED The Secretary presented the minutes of the meeting of March 10, '942. On motion of Mr. Jensen, the minutes were approved as printed on pages 799 to 826 above. 827
